Brief
Create a modern, clear, and impactful visual identity for "DTS" that accurately reflects its mission, vision, and brand values. The new identity should move beyond a generic "IT department" perception to convey innovation, reliability, and a holistic approach to digital enablement within the university.

Our vision is to be the University’s trusted partner in driving digital excellence. We are here to empower and support you as we deliver on DCU’s mission together.
My design approach begins with a comprehensive analysis of the brief, leading to a structured ideation phase. This involves meticulously capturing and organising key ideas, concepts, and keywords.This methodical groundwork is essential forthe effective development of fundamental brand assets like imagery, patterns, and tone of voice. Crucially, my focus during this initial stage is always on understanding the 'why', ensuring every creative decision is purpose driven and aligned with client goals.

DTS focuses on delivering responsive, customer-centered solutions, tailored to the university's diverse needs. It proactively addresses issues, ensures reliable and consistent services, fosters open communication across departments, upholds strong security standards, and continuously improves by adopting new technologies to meet DCU's evolving requirements

Patterns
When starting this project, it was clear that DTS required a bespoke approach, one that stood apart from the current brand.
Each pattern was carefully designed to represent a key feature and pillar of the DTS brand.
For instance, the pattern seen to the left, featuring interlocking squares, was specifically created to symbolise security.
